WCHE Monitors 2024-2025
Left to right: Cari North, Shannon Cornell, Johann Salas, and Jason Adams
Jason Adams – I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota (Skol Vikings!). I relocated with my wife to Spicewood in 2013 to raise our family near my wife’s parents. I have one son who attends WCHE (Hi, Cooper!), and four nephews who’ve walked the halls at one point or another. I enjoy being involved in coaching, playing music, relaxing in my pool and traveling with my family.
Shannon Cornell – My husband and I moved to Lakeway to be near our grown children and our fantastic grandkids. Although only two of my grandchildren are WCHE Tigers, I seem to now have about 600 more "grandchildren" on this campus. All of the WCHE Tigers are fun to be with, and I love having the opportunity to be here with the two who are really my grandchildren. Being a monitor at WCHE is fun and rewarding.
Cari North – I’m originally from Houston, and after graduating from Texas State University I moved to the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Winter Park, Colorado. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Skyler. We have two children - Kyan and Ember and they both attend Lake Travis Middle School. I love reading, hiking, bike riding, and swimming. I also love snuggling with our Goldendoodle Maple. We love living in the Lake Travis area!
Johann Salas – I am the proud mother of 3 grown children and 4 granddaughters, with a grandson due in November. My husband and I moved here 6 years ago from Arlington, Texas, and we love it here and live in this neighborhood! This is my first year as a lunch monitor, yet my past role in LTISD was as an Occupational Therapist, servicing WCHE . I am excited to serve students in this capacity and work alongside an awesome WCHE staff! I have many hobbies that include arts and crafts, walking, biking, hiking and socializing with friends and family. Looking forward to an awesome year!
