Amy Berndlmaier – My husband, three boys, and I moved from New York to Texas in 2009 and have never looked back. We live in Cedar Park with our three dogs and cat. My oldest son, Jackson, attends Texas State. My middle son, Alex, attends Texas Tech and my youngest, Ryan, is a Junior at Vista Ridge High School. This will be my 24th year teaching and I could not be more excited to start the year in the Lake Travis School District!
Heather Eilers – I am a Lake Travis High School alumna. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Angelo State University. I joined the West Cypress Hills Elementary School staff as a Special Education Aide in 2019 and later served as a West Cypress 4th grade teacher. I am very excited to begin my 4th year with the WCHE Kindergarten Team! My husband, Mark Eilers, also works for the LTISD and is going into his 23rd year of teaching and coaching at Lake Travis Middle School. Our son, Reagan, is entering into 5th grade and like his mom, is excited to be a West Cypress Hills Tiger!
Lindsay Lee -- I was born and raised an hour north of Tampa in the sunshine state of Florida. My whole family is proud alumni of Baylor University (Sic em!) After graduating in 2022, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, and taught second grade for two years. I am so excited to be back in Texas closer to family and friends, starting my third year teaching in Kindergarten at WCHE! My roommate and I will be coaching High school cheer this fall. I love being outdoors, journaling and decorating. I also love a cup of coffee at any time of the day!
Jamie Wade – I am excited to start my 10th year at WCHE and 8th year teaching kindergarten! I, my husband, Jeff, and our daughter, Jordan, live in the Spicewood community, and we love it here. I have 2 long-haired dachshunds, Hudson & Skye, and I love being outdoors swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and gardening. I also enjoy taking naps!
