Colbi Dickerson –  Hello! My name is Colbi Dickerson, and I am excited to be joining the team this year.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and have experience teaching upper elementary students in both general education and special education settings. I am passionate about creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, reading, tackling home projects, and finding creative ways to bring learning to life. I believe strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school year, and I look forward to partnering with students and families to make this year a great one!

Katie Doering -  Hi! My name is Katie Doering, and this will be my 10th year teaching at West Cypress Hills! A little bit about me, I am married to my college sweetheart, Marc, and we have three kids and two fur babies--our sweet golden retrievers, Oakley and Maui! I love to run, cook, snowboard, take pictures, attend my kids’ sporting events, and spend as much time as I can with family and friends! 

Brittney Ellis --   Hi Tigers! This will be my 6th year teaching Humanities and I love it! I am a proud San Angeloan and ASU Ram. I am an even prouder mom of 3 amazing kiddos, a funny goldendoodle, and a cute guinea pig. You will find me hanging out with my family, baking and decorating cookies, exploring, or exercising. We adore living in the Hill Country and being a part of the WCH Tiger Family! I am looking forward to an amazing year ahead! Go Tigers! 

Elizabeth Lively --  Teaching is my passion, and I am looking forward to another great year at WCHE.  I received my bachelor degree from Texas State, but in our home we yell: “Gig’em”! When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my husband, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and our new puppy, Ruby! In my spare time you can find me with my grandchildren, watching a John Wayne movie, reading a good book, or working in my garden! 

Jackie Mohr -- I’m Jackie Mohr and I’m excited to be starting my 9th year of teaching 5th grade! I attended Texas A&M University and taught 5th grade for two years in Garland ISD, followed by six years at West Cypress Hills Elementary. After spending time at home with my family, I’m excited to be back in the classroom doing what I love! I live in Spicewood with my husband and two boys (ages 8 and 5) who attend WCH. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, working out, spending time with family, and attending my boys’ sporting events.
