Lauren Arias - Hello! I am a first-year teacher from Waco, Texas. I have been a substitute teacher in LTISD for the past two years. I am so excited to be a part of the WCHE family!
Noelle McDaniel -- I grew up in Iowa and moved to Texas to study Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas State at age 19. This will be my 12th year teaching. I am certified to teach early childhood through 8th grade. Fourth grade is my favorite grade to teach, and math and writing are my favorite subjects to teach. I have been married to my husband, Dusty, for 17 years, and we have 2 incredible daughters and a 90lb black Lab named Boone! We love watching Finley (9th grade) and Charlotte (6th grade) play softball and volleyball any chance we get.
Bonnie Mottola – This is my 7th year at West Cypress Hills Elementary!! Lucky number 7! I am so looking forward to this year and teaching with my fabulous 4th grade team!! I have taught 3rd grade for three years, and this will be my fourth year teaching 4th grade. I am teaching Math and Science!
I am an original Austinite and graduated from Anderson High School and from Texas Tech University with a Degree in Business Management. I later went back and received my teaching certification! I have two children, Mark and Jacquelyn. Mark just graduated from Lake Travis High School. Go Cavs! and is attending the University of Tampa! Jacquelyn is an alumni of West Cypress Hills Elementary and is on POM Squad at Hudson Bend Middle School! I have an English Creme Golden Retriever who is full of energy! I enjoy working out, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am so excited about working with my fabulous team this year!! Go TIGERS!!
Madeline Rowe - I am new to WCHE! This is my sixth year teaching. I was born in Harlingen, Texas. I’m a former TXST Bobcat, and I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. I have taught in Hays CISD, Lockhart ISD, and even across the world in Barcelona, Spain! I am VERY passionate about learning and encouraging students to reach their fullest potential by making school challenging and FUN!
Kim Roy – Kim is thrilled to be in her third year on the 4th grade team! She is teaching ELA and Social Studies again this year. She is also a published poet and a lifelong lover of words. She is originally from Indiana and loves the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She enjoys traveling, powerlifting, and decorating cakes. She has a husband named Jarrod and two cats named Oscar and Lilo.
