Sabrina Hilario - Hi! My name is Sabrina Hilario, and I am so excited to be apart of WCHE's 1st Grade Team. I am originally from Southern California. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with my BA in Early Childhood Education and my MA in Policy and Administration. This will be my seventh year teaching and my second year teaching 1st at WCHE. 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading books, drinking iced coffee, and going to Disneyland any chance I can get.

Caroline Kelner –  I am excited to be entering my 20th year in education!  Throughout my career, I have served as a special education teacher, resource teacher, collaborative teacher in grades K–3, and campus support specialist providing math, reading and dyslexia intervention.

I live in Spicewood with my husband, Robin, our two boys, Lane (3rd grade) and Brooks (1st grade,) and our Silver Lab puppy, Aspen. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family at the lake, beach, or in the mountains, and I always have a good book—or three—going.

I am thrilled to be joining the West Cypress Hills community. I look forward to a wonderful school year together!

Harleigh Mueller – Hello!  My name is Harleigh Mueller, and I am thrilled to be a part of the WCHE 1st grade team!  I graduated from Concordia University Texas, where I was honored as the Preservice Educator of the Year in 2022. This will be my fifth year teaching 1st grade, and I was proud to be recognized by Austin ISD as a Teacher of Promise during my first year in the classroom. 

Hayley Spillar –  I was born and raised in Santa Clara, California and studied Fine Arts at San Jose State University. My professional journey began with 15 years of coaching gymnastics, where I developed a passion for helping children build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning. I later transitioned into early childhood education, teaching preschool in a Mother's Morning Out program before serving as a Kindergarten teacher with Lampasas ISD.

I am excited to begin my third year teaching first grade at West Cypress Elementary in Lake Travis ISD. One of the greatest joys of teaching is watching students grow in confidence and seeing their excitement as they discover new skills and ideas. Helping children develop a lifelong love of learning is what inspires me every day.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cheering on my children's sporting events, and teaching yoga. I look forward to partnering with families to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning experience for every child.
